Sustainability at Lawi

Our commitment

Let’s make it easy to recycle old products.

A Small or Negative Footprint

We ask providers to measure the green credentials of our product throughout their life cycle — that means product design, procurement, manufacturing, transportation, use, and end of life product management. We set clear targets to protect our planet.

Green from the ground up

The Lawi Project is committed to reducing the amount of energy we consume in the office, on the road, and in between.

Suppliers & vendors: Sustainable initiatives

The Lawi Project have high standards for who we are, what we do, and how every action helps us realize a sustainable society.

Corporate responsibility

We publish a CSR Report to communicate our work and key accomplishments from the previous year. It covers goals and sustainable practices in relation to our efforts in innovation, products and services, employee diversity, and the environment.

Supply chain CSR management

In addition to the quality of the information it delivers to users, the Lawi Project also ensures appropriate standards for the environmental, human rights and labor conditions throughout its suppliers, partners and third parties production processes. The Lawi Project, besides its Supplier Code of Conduct, works with its suppliers to ensure Lawi’s expectations on proper CSR standards are adhered to.

In addition, there has been increasing popular’s concern on environmental degradation, human rights violation and labors issue related to the extraction of metals and the production of goods.

In 2010, the United States enacted Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, which, requires companies covered under the Act to publicly disclose certain information regarding any use of conflict minerals in their products. The Lawi Project has established its policy to refrain from knowingly purchasing any products, components or materials that contain conflict minerals so that it can avoid contributing to conflict through its sourcing practices. To help ensure compliance with this policy, the Lawi Project has exercised due diligence for certain product categories, and it has been expanded across all the projects to determine the country of origin and chain of custody.

Choosing eco-products

Make informed decisions when you’re shopping for eco items, using manufactured products, and recycling old electronics.

Look for energy-saving features

Products with energy-saving features can help you avoid wasting energy while saving money on utility bills. Many TVs have a light sensor that automatically adjusts picture brightness to suit light levels, so you can enjoy optimum viewing and save energy too.
